Tamara Karagic is Senior Associate at Canada Immigration and Visa Services Inc. (CIVS), based out of the firm’s Calgary location.
Ms. Karagic provides a range of immigration advice and services to corporate and individual clients on various immigration issues, including overseeing and preparing applications for temporary and permanent residence.
Ms. Karagic possesses over 12 years of experience as an HR in IT, Software Engineering and Power Engineering industry. In addition to her accomplishments in HR, she has worked as a Human Rights Officer with the OSCE Mission to B&H.
Ms. Karagic, M.A., RCIC R512974 is a member of the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council.
Ms. Karagic earned her M.A. in the Theory and Practice of Human Rights in 2005 from University of Oslo, Norway, her LL.M. in 2006 from University of Belgrade, Serbia. Ms. Karagic is trained in Dialogue and Peaceful Conflict Resolution at the Nansen Skolen, Lillehammer, Norway.
Ms. Karagic is a CPHR Candidate #31533 and has been a member in good standing of the Chartered Professionals in Human Resources – Alberta (CPHR) since 2011.
Ms. Karagic earned her Immigration Practitioner Program Certificate in 2016 from Bow Valley College, Calgary, where she was a recipient of the CAPIC Award for Academic Excellence 2016.
