3,350 Invitations Issued to Express Entry Candidates for Canadian Permanent Residence

The new draw was held yesterday, April 17, to the total of 3,350 candidates of Express Entry for Canadian Permanent Residence. The score cut-off for the draw was 451. The eligible candidates were entered into the Express Entry pool and designate a ranking score based on different factors and categories. The highest-rank candidate was given an invitation for Canadian Permanent residence through draws from the pool.

There is three main federal economic immigration program for the Express Entry pool and these are Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class, and Canadian Experience Class.

In 2019, Canada has issued 27,900 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to Express Entry.  Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) target higher admission for this year and 2020 to surpass the 2018 record.
